Hot dog trays are a famous food packaging used for many products across the industry. There are two common designs of hot dog trays: standard food trays and signature hot dog trays. The main difference between the two is that signature hot dog trays have one open end while others have four walls. This is because the production involves only a single die. Also, these trays are shipped flat with two foldable sides with creases, whereas the back panel gets pasted or has a foot-lock. Cardboard and Kraft trays come with pasting, and corrugated trays come with a foot lock.

As mentioned earlier, hot dog trays are not limited to hot dogs only as they are used for many other products like shawarmas, doners, sandwiches, etc. Because of their versatile applications, these trays can be seen at many food stalls, restaurants, and various other food places. These trays can be made with cardstock, Kraft, and corrugated material. The usual customizations are branding with either embossing or debossing. Also, you may find such products with artwork printing and various finishes for an appealing presentation.
