Custom Inserts for Your Products
When you are dealing with fragile retail products, you need to be extra careful with their safety. Many factors can damage a product before it reaches a customer. Most such product damages occur during shipping and handling procedures. The use of suitable inserts is excellent prevention from such damages as your product won't shake off.
Besides keeping your products safe, inserts help in keeping them in an orderly manner. That's why inserts are excellent when you want to pack multiple products in the same packaging. Also, their use can enhance the customer's experience with the product.
At PackHit, we offer a variety of inserts in different materials. You can get foam inserts as well as cardboard inserts, corrugated inserts, and white filling. Depending on your preference and product's requirements, you can opt for any of the given options.
Foam Inserts
As the name suggests, foam inserts are made from some type of foam(depending on your preference). They act as shock absorbers and cushions during collisions, falls, and other kinds of mishandling. We offer inserts made from Eva foam, anti-static foam, and charcoal foam.
Eva Foam
Eva foam stands for ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer foam. It is premium quality insert material with a rigid yet soft surface that ensures products do not move out of their place. Also, the smooth and soft texture of this foam keeps the products safe from scratches. A significant advantage of using foam inserts is their special appeal that adds to the customer's experience. From us, you can get any size, dimensions, and product cavity that suits your needs.
Anti-Static Foam
Anti-static foam inserts are mainly used for packaging electrical products. But their soft and nonabrasive surface makes them perfect for packing fragile products. These inserts are softer and of lower quality and price than Eva foam. As we make all custom inserts from scratch, you can get any size, dimensions, and die-cutting that suit your needs.
Charcoal Foam
Charcoal foam has its name from its charcoal-colored surface. These are the most common foam inserts for packaging boxes. This variety of foam is excellent, affordable, and shock-proof for inserts. Like other foam inserts, you also get the same customization options with custom sizes and die-cutting.
Cardboard Inserts
Cardboard inserts play a similar role in keeping the products in their place, like foam inserts. However, cardboard inserts are more affordable and versatile. Thus, they are still suitable for a broader range of design options; they are excellent in providing an extra layer of safety for your products.
Like packaging boxes, there are many customizations you can make with fences/dividers and inserts. You can also go with different printing and finishes like your custom boxes. We offer two main types of cardboard inserts:
Fence Partition/Dividers
Fence partitions are the most common type of packaging inserts. These are excellent for keeping the products from moving or colliding inside the boxes. Also, these are versatile and can be used in a variety of designs of boxes. Whichever size and dimensions of inserts suit your product needs, we can provide them.
Punch Inserts
Cardboard punch inserts are the type of die-cut inserts according to the requirements of a particular product. So, every punch insert is custom designed. But, even on this type of insert, you can have printing and finishing details. Or you opt for simple white inserts as well.
Corrugated Inserts
Corrugated inserts are the same as cardboard inserts with the big difference in the material, better durability, and better shock absorption. Therefore, such inserts are used for more heavy-duty products and shipping-friendly packaging boxes. Like every other insert, PackHit provides die-cutting, custom size and dimensions, and printing, and finishing options of your choice.
Fence Partition
A corrugated fence partition is like a cardboard partition with thicker and sturdier stocks. All the design and customization options are the same. A significant difference is in using the two types of partitions, as corrugated is more suited for fragile products.
Punch Inserts
Again, like cardboard punch inserts, the concept is similar, with only one difference in the stock. The fluted material offers the same customization options as regular inserts, and you can have them die-cut in any way you want.
Void Filling
Any type of packaging solution that is used to fill up extra space in packaging boxes to ensure product safety comes under the term of void filling. There are various types of void filling made from different materials, forms, and natures. Following are commonly demanded void options.
Wrap Fills
Paper wraps are an excellent void fill that adds an extra level of safety from all sides and keeps them from shaking off inside the packaging. It is a simple, inexpensive, and affordable void fill. Also, wrap fills are an adjustable packaging add-on that can be used with the style and packaging boxes.
Bubble Wrap
Bubble wrap is one of the most used void fills. Their shock-resistant nature keeps the products safe from collision damage and limits their movement within the packaging. That's why bubble wrap is excellent for electronics, equipment, and fragile products like glassware.
Shredded Paper
Shredded paper is a common void fill that can provide cushion to your product from all types of damages. It is an inexpensive, lightweight, yet effective filling material. You can go with shredded Kraft paper or white paper options. Also, you can opt for colored paper shreds.
Packaging Peanuts
Packaging peanuts are small peanut-shaped chunks of foam that provide cushions to the products packed inside and fill the extra spaces. Like shredded paper, they are a light-weighted void fill. However, because of their soft foamy surface, they do not have an abrase against the product's surface. So, packaging peanuts is a fun filling of boxes that keep products safe and ensure extra product safety.
Foam Cushions
For products like jewelry, watches, and accessories, foam cushions are the most suitable void fill. They have a pillow-like shape that keeps the product in its place. As for the personalizations, you can go with different colors and the option of going with either velvet or silk.
